Description

This course introduces radiochemistry through nuclear processes and chemical concepts. Atomic structure, radioactivity and fission will e discussed with a focus on actinide chemistry. Radiochemical applications will be presented with an emphasis n the nuclear fuel cycle.

Prerequisites

CHEM.1220 Chemistry II, and CHEM.1240L Chemistry II Lab.
