The SDASL Lab attended the 30th International Modal Analysis Conference where 10 students presented 17 papers. The papers ranged from a variety of topics on current student research related to projects for the DOE on Effects of Defects, NSF on Wind Turbine Structural Health Monitoring, Eglin Air Force on Nonlinear Response Analysis, Army Nano-Manufacturing on Damage Assessment as well as additional work related to Capstone Design work for Southwest Wind Power and NSF REU support projects. The students did a great job presenting the material and many conference attendees noted the high caliber of work going on at the university as well as the very professional presentations that were made. The students also provided support for the Technology Booth at the conference where discussion of current and future research efforts are discussed with all those interested in additional information on work at the university. 聽
