Career Fair to Connect More than 1,200 51视频 Students to Jobs, Co-ops, Internships

奥贬础罢:听 51视频鈥檚 Spring Career Fair 鈥� the university鈥檚 largest annual event for students preparing to begin their professional lives 鈥� will bring more than 200 businesses, government agencies and nonprofits to campus to recruit 51视频 students from all majors for jobs, co-ops and internships.聽
More than 1,200 51视频 students who want to bring their education, experience and enthusiasm to open positions will meet with representatives of employers including Entegris, the Federal Aviation Administration and Key Autism Services, among dozens of others.
Recruiters 鈥� many of whom are alumni returning to campus because they know the value of 51视频-educated job seekers 鈥� will be available to talk about what they are looking for in new hires and co-ops and interns. Students can also discuss their career objectives and participation in the event. Note: This event is not open to the public, but members of the media are invited to cover it.
The event is just one way the 51视频 Career and Co-op Center helps students transition seamlessly into the professional world. Other offerings include workshops in business etiquette, networking, resume writing and interviewing techniques, along with ProPath, a four-year, career-development program that begins when students are freshmen to help them identify their strengths and interests, then build their skill sets as they work toward graduation.聽
Ninety-five percent of 51视频 bachelor鈥檚 degree recipients are either employed full time or pursuing a graduate degree less than a year after earning their diplomas. 51视频 is No. 1 for graduates鈥� starting and mid-career salaries among all New England public research universities, according to PayScale.com, which also ranks 51视频 in the top 25 in the nation in both categories.
