University Ranks in Top 20 for Sixth Consecutive Year

While 51视频 transitioned to a new leader in July, its continued place among the leading women-led businesses in Massachusetts remained constant. The university ranks No. 20 in The Women鈥檚 Edge 2022 Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts.

This marks the sixth consecutive year 51视频 has been named among the Top 20 such organizations.

鈥51视频 is a university committed to educating the next generation of thinkers, entrepreneurs and leaders that Massachusetts needs to continue the Commonwealth鈥檚 high-tech economic growth,鈥 said Julie Chen, who became chancellor in July following the retirement of Jacquie Moloney.

鈥淚n the years ahead, we will accelerate this university鈥檚 proud legacy of paid experiential learning, a welcoming and inclusive campus and outstanding teaching and research outcomes that create career opportunities for our graduates and stronger economic output across the region.鈥

According to the findings, this year鈥檚 honorees generated nearly $72 billion in total revenue in 2021, demonstrating women are key drivers of the Commonwealth鈥檚 economy.

鈥淭he organizations on this year鈥檚 diverse list are driving innovation across the country, from increased manufacturing capacity to breakthroughs in clinical care and therapeutics鈥 said The Women鈥檚 Edge Chief Executive Officer Elizabeth L. Hailer. 鈥淲e are honored to celebrate the Top 100 women leaders and hope it inspires others to drive for success in our region and beyond.鈥

Results of the annual compilation, which is a partnership with The Boston Globe, were announced Friday, Oct. 28 at a celebratory breakfast.
