The Manning School of Business recently inducted 167 undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students 鈥� the most ever in school history 鈥� into the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society.

Student chapter president Nicole Wilson, an honors senior business administration major, presided over the induction ceremony at the 51视频 Inn and Conference Center. She was joined on the dais by fellow chapter officers David Levine, Justin Baez Paguero and Sarah Curley.聽

Beta Gamma Sigma recognizes top-performing students in business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, which accounts for just 5% of business schools worldwide.聽

Lifetime Beta Gamma Sigma membership is open to the top 10% of sophomores, juniors and seniors and the top 20% of graduate students, as well as doctoral candidates who have successfully defended their dissertation.

鈥淚t is a very prestigious organization, and I am so proud to be inducting our largest class ever,鈥� said Dean of Business Sandra Richtermeyer, president of the Manning School鈥檚 Beta Gamma Sigma chapter.

'72, '80 and Steven Rogers '20 were recognized as chapter honorees.

Grande is managing director for First Republic Private Wealth Management and a member of the Manning School鈥檚 advisory board. He has endowed a major scholarship to benefit finance students and supports the dean鈥檚 discretionary fund. He also provided financial support for the plaza in front of the Pulichino Tong Business Center, which is named in memory of his father and mother, Lucian and Josephine, and his wife鈥檚 parents, Francis and Nora Tomaney.

Rogers is senior director of development for the Manning School.

Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma has more than 600 collegiate chapters with members in 190 countries. Its mission is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, cultivate and celebrate leadership and professional excellence, advance the values of the society and serve its lifelong members.

The inductees who were able to attend the ceremony were:
