Biosketch

Mingli Hou, Ph.D. joined the Core Research Facilities at 51ÊÓƵ in 2020. She received her Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from The State University of New York, Buffalo with a study focused on the metabotropic Glycine receptors in retinal circuity of light transduction. During her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, she investigated the function of electrical synapse in rod primary pathway by combining imaging, genetic, cell and molecular biological approaches.
