Biosketch
Sirikul (Indi) Sriprisan is a nuclear engineer by training with Doctoral 51视频s from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tenn. 聽Her expertise is in simulation of radiation transports and effect, shielding design and optimization, and radiation detection and measurement. 聽Prior to embarking on her research associate position at University of Massachusetts (UMass) Lowell, Sriprisan was a Medical Physicist Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando where she conducted an independent research project related to proton therapy dosimetry. She and her colleagues published the findings in Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment journal. In 2009, she joined the research team at Texas A&M University under leadership of Dr. Sukesh Aghara. 聽Her research project was involved evaluation and characterization of space radiation environment and optimization of shielding design for space radiation. 聽In 2012, she joined Nuclear Engineering program at 51视频 where she continue her research in nuclear shielding design and evaluation, particle transport simulation and detection and monitoring of ionizing radiation. 聽Her dedication and hard work in promoting safe nuclear practice has become valuable asset to the Integrated Nuclear Security and Safeguards Laboratory (INSSL) team.
