Biosketch

Shiri has worked as a broadcast meteorologist since 2007 in Western Massachusetts, Miami and Boston.

Her daily duties are sharing weather and climate knowledge. She is frequently called in as "station scientist" to explain events like earthquakes, issues like air quality and pollution and even practices such as recycling.

Her focus at 51视频 is teaching students how to effectively communication science knowledge to the general public. These skills are aimed to enhance public knowledge, interest and action in current science issues.
