It includes wet chemistry, processing and characterization laboratories, offices, conference rooms and a 鈥渢hink tank鈥� area outfitted with a continuous whiteboard on which researchers may brainstorm new ideas.
In addition to this 鈥渉ome base鈥�, DEVCOM SC scientists will also have access to labs of their research partners across campus, including those located in the $80 million Mark and Elisia Saab Emerging Technologies and Innovation Center and the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Soldier Center in Natick, which also offers 51视频 faculty and student researchers access to their .聽Within the center students and scientists can expect to find聽design, synthesis, engineering and testing laboratories, as well as nano-fabrication facilities.
