CPE Staff

Shanna Rose ThompsonÌý— Shanna is the Center for Program Evaluation (CPE)’s Manager. She also serves as the Project Manager for the Science Express grants and adjuncts for the School of Education. She has been teaching and working on numerous research projects at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since 2008. She previously served as a high school mathematics teacher in alternative schools in San Francisco and New Orleans as well as a Human Resources & Training Coordinator at a minority-owned bank in New Orleans.

Eisha Haroon —ÌýEisha is a part-time staff CPE staff member. A recent graduate from the Manning School of Business studying MIS and Marketing. She began working at the CPE as a research assistant through 51ÊÓƵ's immersive scholar's program. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Urdu.Ìý

Full-time Graduate Research Assistants

Abeer HakouzÌý—ÌýAbeer Hakouz is a doctoral student in research and evaluation in education at the School of Education. Abeer has been working in evaluation for the past 14 years. She is a co-founding member of the Jordanian Evaluation Association (EvalJordan), and is connected to leading evaluators’ networks such as the American Evaluation Association, EvalMENA Network, and EvalGender+ Network. Abeer is currently an RA at the CPE. She is bilingual, speaking bothÌýArabic and English.

Meghan JohnsonÌý—ÌýMeg is a doctoral candidate in the School of Education, studying research and evaluation in education. They began as a research assistant at the CPE in Fall 2023. Meg serves on multiple student evaluation case competition working groups and as a Junior Editor for New Directions in Evaluation.Ìý

Dhanashree KarandikarÌý—ÌýDee is a Ph.D. candidate at the UML School of Education. She studied social anthropology at the undergraduate level and went to King's College London to study education management/policy for a master's degree. Before coming to the US, she worked extensively in rural India and was the co-chair of the Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage in her hometown. Dee is currently an RA at the CPE. She is passionate about education, social justice and the creative arts. She is multilingual, speakingÌýEnglish, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarathi.Ìý

Ida Tewoutchoyo —ÌýIda is a Master's student in the Manning School of Business. She is a member of Women in Business, The Association of Students of African Origin, and The Black Student Union.ÌýShe began working at the CPE as a research assistant through 51ÊÓƵ's immersive scholar's program.ÌýIda was also born in West Africa. She is multilingual, speaking English,ÌýKabiye,Ìýand French.

Holly DeAngelisÌý— Holly is a Master's student in the Kennedy College of Sciences studying Mathematics as well as Business Administration and teaching. She began working at the CPE as a research assistant through 51ÊÓƵ's immersive scholar's program.ÌýHolly is also a member of the Business Analytics Society, the Management Society, and the Catholic Student Union.Ìý

Part-time Undergraduate Research Assistant

Maddalana EmondÌý— Maddalana is an undergraduate student in theÌýManning School of Business.ÌýShe is a first-generation student and is a peer leader with the River Hawk Scholars Academy. She is also a member of Phi Sigma Rho, a local sorority on campus. She began working at the CPE as a research assistant through 51ÊÓƵ's immersive scholar's program.Ìý
